Flagstone Property Group has recently awarded Technomarine to design and build the United States’ first super-yacht marina on Watson Island in Miami, Florida. The $25 million dollar marina development, Deep Harbour at Island Gardens, will utilize Technomarine’s 200 Series advanced floating docks with composite decking, custom logo cleats, service troughs and multiple access gangways. Our Advanced Dock System includes the industry’s leading 10-year warranty, an annual maintenance plan, state of the art mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, in slip sewer pump out, in slip high speed fueling and hurricane wind rating.
Deep Harbour at Island Gardens is a 5,000 linear foot deepwater marina for mega- and super-yachts ranging from 100 feet up to 450 feet in length and provides mooring facilities for up to 75 yacht slips. It will be the only all mega-yacht marina in North America and will have the most mega-yacht slips in South Florida, known for being the yacht capital of the world. These mega-yachts are awe-inspiring and tend to draw people of all ages and income brackets as experienced in mega-yachtoriented resorts such as St. Tropez (France), Marbella (Spain), Monte Carlo (Monaco) and St. Barths (St. Barthelemy). Unique to Deep Harbour at Island Gardens will be the angled design of the docks in the harbour, which will ensure unobstructed views from the whole Island Gardens development towards downtown Miami and the cruise ships berthed at the Port of Miami terminal across Biscayne Bay.
The multi million dollar project will also have a 150-key luxury hotel that has been designed to meet the needs of the sophisticated global traveler. The luxury hotel facility will be at the heart of the bustling mixed-use waterfront environment, have stunning 360-degree views of Biscayne Bay, an array of the world’s largest yachts in its harbour, the Miami skyline, and a multitude of waterfront dining, entertainment, shopping venues and public promenades. The 100 serviced residences at Island Gardens, will be located above the luxury hotel property and branded respectively. “We are very proud and excited to have been chosen and involved with this prestigious project that has such a national and international impact in the super-yacht market. Technomarine is no stranger to such projects as we are continually setting new, innovative and higher standards in the marina industry space worldwide,” stated Technomarine Group’s CEO Erik Sanderson.
